Good morning COPD family, I hope all are well and prospering. I am not expecting a response, probably just a place to pour out some of my frustrations. WAH! I have been following my doctors instructions and faithful to the medication regimen. It has bee almost 21 years since my End Stage diagnoses and I am doing quite well as long as I can control my environment. I have uncontrolled Hypertension and wear a pace maker to help control my heart rate. I blacked out in 2017 and when I fell backwards I fractured my skull. With brain bleeding and concussion, it took 10 days in the hospital plus six months of rest and light activity to heal. The only adverse, lasting affects; I lost the sense of smell and taste. This has created a huge continuing risk for me as I can no longer detect and avoid triggers. My little service dog is my very best friend, he is with me everywhere I go. He carries my rescue inhaler on his vest and will even poke me when he senses something I don't. God is good! I live with a loving wife of 53 years and have a wonderful home, good food to eat and cloth to wear. The song just popped into my head, "Don't Worry Be Happy." And the Word of God says, Matthew 6:34 " Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own troubles."
Well God bless and have a great day. Writing it out helps me get my mind right even if it is a drag for you.
