Good Evening,
We had a wonderful day celebrating Addy's birthday with our family. I was so happy to spend time with them. Dave is off to his Thursday evening golf. There are about 12 men that play every Thursday night. We actually got to go inside Walmart and do a bit of shopping. It was nice. We still have to wear masks everywhere. That's o.k. At least we're now heading in the right direction.
Ken - I am so pleased to read that the Dr is going to do Puff's surgery for less money. You also have some wonderful friends that gave you a donation towards the surgery also. I hope you had a good visit with your daughter over Father's Day weekend. I bet you really looked forward to seeing her. Dave and I did get our 2nd shot. We ended up getting Pfizer.
Debbie - The past 2 days we've been walking in the evening. I'm so out of shape, it is very difficult. I guess I'll eventually build my endurance back up.
Sue - I see you also have a puppy now too. Two new dogs to get used to. LOL Lots of fun.
Everyone stay safe and healthy!

Good evening family, I am sitting in my recliner enjoying the air conditioning. It is totally toasty here and it isn't going to get better real soon. We had to move Puff's surgery till next Wed. His liver function is a bit low so we got medication for that and increased his insulin to 9 units twice a day. He is totally blind now and it just breaks my heart, he has just kind of given up his character. I guess I am his seeing eye person. He is only 6 1/2 so he can still have a good life if all goes well.
Cheryl, I am so glad you had a good time with your family. I hope you are able to continue walking, Joy does 5 miles every morning. There is heart disease in her family so she took matters into her own hands when cholesterol started going up. She lost 49# and has kept it off for 8 years. I am glad she doesn't need medication. I have a few in my family that are golfing nuts to. I have been overcome by the lazy gene and don't play golf.
Sue, I don't spend much time on fb, did you get a new puppy? I hope you are doing well in your new home (your sanctuary from the world). I continue to hold Amy in prayer.
Debbie, I hope you are well. The whole country seems to be in some sort of catastrophe. We have 24 wild fires burning in our state and I see bad storms throughout the South and Eastern states.
Sending love and prayers for all, Ken
