Good morning friends! Not much to write about today, but I wanted to check in. I hope all are doing good today. I’m actually going to get out of the house a little bit today. I’ve got to start moving around more so I can get some muscle tone back. I’ve let myself get into a big funk and now I have to pull myself out of it. Prayers appreciated! Love & prayers for all who need them ❤️🙏

Hi Deb, I am sorry for not showing up, kind of in a funk with Puff. We go in at 8:00 tomorrow for testing to see if his eyes can be saved. I never thought I would spend this kind of money on a rescue dog but I rescued him it has to be all the way. He has truly saved my life and since the prostate cancer, he has been hanging on me. God has gifted me with a special buddy for sure. I am hoping Sue can bond like this with her new dog.
Debbie, my lungs have greatly improved so here is what I do. I am very precise with my medications and inhalers. I try to monitor air quality and I have real trouble since I lost my smell and taste. I can't tell if the is a trigger odor till my lungs start burning then I am in trouble. I think the thing that helps most is using my CPAP with 02. The CPAP forces the air and 02 to me so I don't have to fight to breathe. I practice breathing as deeply as I can when I lay down in the afternoon and I am sure it is building my diaphragm and chest muscles as well as expanding my lungs. I just had my PFT last month and it was close to normal. I also get an Asthma shot every 2 weeks. My Pulmonalogist said he has not seen this kind of improvement so keep doing what I am doing. I also rely on the power of prayer. Doctor said they are only instruments of God. I know we are all different but I think exercising my lungs with the CPAP and 02 are a great help.
Sending love and prayers for all, Ken
