Trouble cleaning your bathtub?
« Thread Started on Jan 16, 2008, 4:04pm »

I don't know about anyone else, but cleaning the bathtub is a problem for me. It's low and you have to either get in it or lean over to clean it. Well, I just ordered something called a Bathtub Swab from Fuller Brush. I hope I can mention them here. The rod is extendable and it looks like it is right up my alley.

You can see many of their products there. FB is a great old company. Been around for a looong time. Pat

It's on sale right now. I think a good price myself.
I just got a order confirm and they have given me Fullpower Spot Remover free of charge besides my bathtub swab. Very decent of them. Pat

Thanks Pat, I just ordered one. I had bought something similar from Target but it really scratched my tub, its fiberglass. This one is not supposed to do that.

Pat, I didn't know Fuller Brush was still in business!
We don't use our tub, mainly because of the cleaning issue. We do, however use our shower which is tiled. I'd love to find something to clean it. Hubby always did it, but since his last heart attack, it's too hard for him to get down on his knees, too. I keep thinking about a push broom like we had when I was a kid - Dad used it in the garage. Something like that, but not as wide, would make a super scrub brush that I (or better yet HE) could use while standing. I'll check the Fuller Brush site and see if they have something similar.

Merryfl, they have been around since I was a kid. I can remember when someone would sell it house to house. I guess they can still do that, but I would think it would be risky business anymore.
They still sell their wonderful combs and brushes. Pricey, but I guess well worth it.
You'll probably find something on their web-site to help clean your shower. Look under bathroom products for starters. Pat

Sweetpea thank you so much for that post! My husband has a fuller brush that he has used for probably 15 years. I have been wanting to get him a new one for ages. I'm going to check out the shower cleaner too. Cleaning my tub has always been the hardest thing for me and knocked me to my knees with the fumes back a couple of months ago. Thanks again!!

Merry, here's a link, I think this migh tbe helpful to you:
www.fullerstore.com/brush/cart.php?target=product&product_id=16463&category_id=259
Also, I find cleaning right after a shower is easier, it softens up and comes off easier than if you are trying to clean a cold tub or shower. IMHO

Amazing so many things we all have in common. Now it is Fuller Brush. I think it was the 'Fuller Brush Man', wasn't it? Now it would have to probably be the 'Fuller Brush Person'. Lol
I looked them up a couple years ago because I wanted a good Bath Brush for Joe. I cannot remember if I bought theirs or Linen n Things when I finished looking.
Merry; I often wonder how things like that get done when neither of the people can do it. I know it is suggested to try to rinse the shower best you can before you get out. With me, it is all I can do to get me thru the shower. Good luck with the purchases.

What made me realize FB was still around, is I caught a show on QVC showing a FB product. So I googled FB and I think they have some wonderful products. They've been around eons. I've never seen a newspaper ad for them or a TV ad. They just go by word of mouth. Pat

I received my shower brush a couple of days ago, and I am tickled pink! It is exactly what I've wanted and works great. The quality is super and it is easy for Hubby to use. My shower looks better than it has in years.
