1. for chocolate chip cookies, I sometimes add some coconut to the dough. I think this helps keep the cookies moist and chewy.
2. I sometimes add a flavoring (along with or without the vanilla) to sugar or chocolate chip cookies. It's hard for me to chew nuts, so I'll add walnut flavoring for example. I have tried banana and peppermint flavoring in them also. With the sugar cookies, it's pretty much anything goes with the flavoring.

Sue I also put a piece of bread in the container with my cookies. It keeps them moist. My grandmother always did this.

I made peanut butter criss cross's a few days ago, bet they would be good with a little coconut, I still have some and they are getting hard , i'll try the bread toby, lol Doug will come in tonight and reach in and wonder why the bread.
