I am hoping you can tell me what is safer taking a shower. Hopefully I can get an answer in a day or two. Thanks!

Do you have a walk in shower and a seat?

Linda, I use a seat in my walk in shower. It can be dangerous trying to climb in and out of a tub if you don't have the proper hand holds. Be safe

safety bars come in handy if you have to step into your tub. This house we put a walk in shower in the spare bath just in case and so glad we did cause that's what I will be using the next month till I cna get into mine. It has a seat built in to it so its not too bad~only 4' long and wish it was a 5' one but the bathroom is small and that's all that would fit but thankful we have it.You can buy the safety bars and have them installed, just make sure they secure them to the studs in the wall so they don't pull off when you put your weight on them. Are you getting a new tub Linda??
