I'm so sorry to read this. Jackie was a loving, caring woman who helped so many people. She stayed in touch and was on top of so many things. I really admired her. She was a classy lady! Breathe easy, Jackie.

I send my condolences to Jackie's family. She was a precious soul who helped me so much during my first yrs with COPD. Although most of us never meet in person we do form very strong bonds. Rest easy my friend, may God bless you and comfort your family.

Carol emailed me to see if I was ok. Then she emailed me that John O. passed away. I checked out John as he was a friend. Special connection was he lived in Madison WI where I was born. We compared notes. I went to the CI forum after posting in John's Guestbook and reading about him,and saw someone just posted about Jackie. I have no words. Jackie, Wendy and Virginia and I had a period of time that we really connected and altho times change the friendship stays the same. I loved this woman. Afraid to check on Virginia and Wendy. I hope I find them.

Sending out hugs to all that loved Jackie.
She was a very strong advocate for COPD.
We used to skype and have some laughs and just talk. A couple of years ago, she started growing her hair out after seeing mine on skype, then she said it was too much work. She used to want to see different styles when we talked. Funny the certain things that you remember.
She lent a hand across the states to whoever needed it.
Rest in Peace friend.

Thank you for all the kind comments about "Ms Jackie" Our family has marveled on all the friendships she had gained on all the COPD forums. We have found total peace knowing that Jackie had fostered and helped so many friends in the COPD World. Our priest informed us she was already gathering her COPD friends together in heaven. They will continue to be our angels.
As she would say "Breathe Easy"
Dave
