1 lb pasta 1/2 lb bacon, diced Olive oil 4 eggs, room temp 1 c parmesan cheese 2 cloves garlic, sliced black pepper green onion if you'd like Bring a pot of water to boil. Heat a skillet over medium low, with a few Tbsp of olive oil. Add bacon and cook until crisp. Add pasta to water once it starts to boil, cook 1 minute short of pkg directions. Drain, reserve some of the pasta water. Whisk eggs, cheese, pepper. Loosen with a small amt of pasta water, plus it tempers the eggs. When pasta is about done, add garlic to rendered bacon and cook until fragrant. May add green onions if you want to include them. Add pasta to bacon, toss to coat with the grease. Remove from heat, add egg mixture, stir until creamy. Add more pasta water if too dry looking.

I have had this before and it is good but now can't do it with the raw eggs although they do sell pasteurized eggs, I should buy them~~

I'm glad you said that, Colleen. I didn't read the instructions closely enough to realize that the eggs were raw. Even if they were pasteurized, I wouldn't eat them
