Walked for an hour. Allergies are affecting my breathing.. i like spring but it doesnt like me much lol. I lost another inch off my waist and chest ;D

Wow, Sue...you're gonna waste away to nothing! I swam today after class. I haven't done any actual swimming since I had my shoulder replacement. I can finally get that arm to go all the way around so I can stroke. It doesn't go up all the way which makes it awkward to swim. I think I look like a duck with a broken wing I did 3 laps and I was exhaused. It was a terrific effort to swim so differently than I'm used to. Hopefully, if I keep it up, I'll get more used to it, and the shoulder will loosen up more. My pred (I think) is making me fatter around the middle. I've always had a pot belly below my waist. But I've never had fat above my waist before. I hate it! My waist has increased a couple of inches.

Did some squats and upper body exercises. Walked a bit but really need to get into some kind of routine here. I'll get it figured out some day. Thing is I always feel so much better on the days that I exercise so you'd think that this would be easy......lol

I walked 90 min today. last night when i went fishing i walked straight up this steep hill without stopping or needing my inhaler. a year ago i wouldve had to stop every few steps to catch my breath and use inhaler... i cant get over how all this daily walking has helped improve my lung capacity or whatever to improve my breathing!

Got some walking in and some upper body exercises and a couple hours of physical work yesterday. Cleaned the garage and more yard work, felt good. Then I cleaned out my closet, got 4 bags of clothes for charity. Feels good to have that job done also.....lol don't know why I was keeping my size 2's.....I really don't ever want to be that small again!!! wasn't healthy at all!

Sue - your leg muscles are stronger from the walking which means they use O2 more efficiently and you don't get so SOB. Going up a steep hill is tough!! Good for you!

Makes sense Merry i didnt think of that. I feel better in my lungs too if that makes sense. ( till i forget to take my advair then im reminded lol) wish i would lose some lbs too while im at it

Wow.. i walked 3.5 miles this morning and another 3 this afternoon after my nap! I want to try to increase my miles so i figure at least 3 miles (an hour's time) 2x a day would work. Hope it goes well for me.
