What a neat way to "fancy up" mashed potatoes! Great for a dinner party or holiday. I can't believe I've never heard of this before.

and they are so good and you get them ready before so putting dinner on is easier, no potatoes to do at the last minute!!! Its a win-win.....can even do them the day before and pop them in the oven when ready~

They look good. Gonna try and already printed the recipe. I think I will do them in a casserole since I don't have a piping bag.

Aero -- if you on' have a piping bag, you can just use a Ziploc bag. Fill it about 1/2 way and then cut off a corner--squeeze the potatoes out through the corner. You don't have to have a fancy tip. You can even cut the bag in a zigzag pattern to make it a little fancier. Make sure you don't cut too much off the corner, or you'll get blobs This is how I make deviled eggs and also have done this to decorate a cake.
