I'm dieting AGAIN I've had a real sweet tooth since I quit smoking and I found this on a favorite web site of mine and it is so easy. 1 pkg of Angel Food Cake mix 1 pkg of any flavor cake you would like Dump both mixes in a gallon bag and mix thoroughly. When you get ready for dessert, put 3 Tablespoons of the cake mix in a small micro wave bowl. Add 2 Tablespoons of water. Micro wave for 1 minute. Done! I let it cool and add a dollop of Cool Whip and I have a 100 calorie dessert. The texture is not like a fine cake, but it works. You can use any flavor mix you'd like. Right now I'm eating Red Velvet. One mix MUST be angel food for the egg.

Also good to make in the hot summer...won't heat up the kitchen and would probably be good with some fat free frozen yogurt!!!

I've been eating this cake and I find that microwaving it for 1 minute makes it kind of tough. The texture is much better at 50 seconds. It is not like a real cake, but it sure helps the sweet yearnings.

Wonder how it would be with strawberries and fat free coolwhip on top? would it be like strawberry shortcake. Might try it.

Thanks Merry, that looks easy too. Do you remember how many calories in it? Probably not much more than the 3-2-1 cake.

I haven't a clue, Nancy. Just know it was surprisingly good!

The 3-2-1 cake has about 130 calories without anything on top.
The choc cake in a cup has 698 calories with the choc chips, with out the choc chips it is 210 calories less or 488 calories.

Thanks Betty -- guess the angel food would be the better choice if you're dieting. But the chocolate tastes so good! ;D
