Today I made a pot of Chicken & pasta, it was good. Haven't made it in a while, there's heavy cream & parm cheese so I don't make it that often.....lol
Also bought stuff for spinach salad...tomorrow I will make that, make up for all the fat I ate today...I didn't over eat so that was good, still watching portion control and it is better, my stomach doesn't seem to be so big...may just be my imagination...lol or maybe the exercise is helping~~~

Colleen - Rachael Ray says when you have high fat food, you should have a salad with it...it's girl math! Eating the salad removes most of the calories from the fat food - at least in your head ;D

lol Actually, finish the whole salad first, wait, then eat you entree. You eat less, or so I have heard.
Today, was just chicken cheese steak. Would have preferred to try that chicken and pasta, or bbq chicken, lol.

I read a recipe for Creamy Double Cheese Sauce yesterday in a magazine so I'm trying it tonight. I'm heating up the water for pasta (using rotini) and so far it tastes really good! They said it was a basic sauce and you can add whatever you want so I added mushrooms and bacon to it.

Since baseball starts this evening, I'll just make spaghetti. It's quick and easy.

I understood Aero, lol -- I've never tried whole grain pasta. My son-in-law said he tried it and didn't like it at all. I should give it a try myself though.
We had an extra-large pizza last night and nearly finished the whole thing between the 2 of us. That's so bad.

Or..so GOOD! I love pizza, Cheryl. It's probably my favorite food in the whole world.
Went grocery shopping this morning, and they had top sirloin on sale. I picked up a nice big one, and have it marinating in Wishbone Robusto Italian Dressing. It will be great for supper, along with some garlic bread and steak fries.

LOL Merry, glad Cheryl understood. I must have been very tired.
Last nite I made the Roasted Garlic Tilapia with fried corn, garden vegetable rice, and sauteed spinach. Tonite I had steakhouse burgers and bacon and blue cheese burgers on the grill. I ate a little of it, but it was all about the grilled onions and leftover veggies for me.

It's no wonder you stay so slim, Aero! When we grill, I always go for the meat -- it always tastes so good on the grill. I find as I get older, that I enjoy alot more vegetables than I did when I was younger, but they're still not my favorite food group by any means (except for a few exceptions, like corn on the cob)

I've never tried grilled corn on the cob. I've heard good things. I'll have to try it when corn comes in season.

Of course, technically, corn isn't really a vegetable...but I still call it one

I didn't know that, Merry. I thought it was a veggie. lol
Last night we had grilled chicken in a salad. It was very good. I cooked the chicken and cut up all the veggies before I went for my mammogram, so it was all done when I got home.
I haven't decided what we're having tonight.

LOL Cheryl, I burn them too on the grill...I hate our grill and can't wait to move to get a new one....
I made a bunch of salads yesterday, it was so hot and I picked up one of those rotisserie chickens, it was so good. I don't know how they do it.....
Tonight we had leftover since he's leaving again tomorrow. No sense making food that I'll just throw away. Salads tasted better tonight after marinating for a day anyway!!!
