When I open Internet Explorer, it scrolls up out of sight. I spent hours trying to figure out how to get it back - couldn't access any websites, or even close out where I was working. Very frustrating. Finally, by accident, I happened to put my mouse up at the top of the page, and the headers appeared. When I took the mouse away, it disappeared again. Have any of you ever come across this??

go to the top of the page and if you can see the blue part, put your curser there and rt click and make sure that the menu bar and the command bar are both clicked and nothing else has a check bar by it. See if that works. If not I will investage it more

Are you in full screen mode? Try hitting F11 on your keyboard. I hope Betty's solution works.

Cheryl - I tried the F11 key...no luck.
Betty - I ran my cursor up to the top. The command bar came into view, and I right-clicked on Tools. Menu bar, Command bar, and Google Toolbar are checked. Nothing else. ("lock the toolbars" was checked. I unchecked it, but it made no difference). I am totally lost about this. As far as I know, I didn't do anything that would cause this. Grrrrrr!
I appreciate the help, though.

Can you get in the dark blue at the top at all, even a little bit. If you can, put the curser there and hold and then move it down and see if that works.

I can't see the blue at all....I just figured out one thing....I was thinking about the full screen that Cheryl asked about. So I unchecked it....When I have it in small screen, the headers are all there! So, I wonder if I can decrease the screen by a little bit and see what happens.

You have it on auto hide and I am trying to find out how to disable it. You do different things is it is a laptop or desk top

One other thing, Betty - even when I can access the command bars, etc., there is no blue bar...it is black. I can see blue around the sides, but not at the top. It's like the frame for the window is too small and I don't know how to change that. It's all very strange.
With trying to adjust the page size, and messing with it, now I can't see the boxes on the upper right (minimize, resize, close). When I mouse over them, I can see a glow from behind the black bar showing that I am over them.

I have a desk top so may be different but if I click on the tools at the top of the page, it brings the menu and tools down the left side of my screen

Well, I tried the tutorial. Did what it said, but the menu it said would come up -- didn't....However, somehow, it is FIXED! Not sure what you did, or I did, or what, but it's all back where it belongs. Yay! My Close, Restore and Minimize buttons are still hiding behind a black bar -- but I can live with that. They still work, just can't see them. Thanks so much, Betty.

Not sure why they are hiding behind a black bar but I'll see what I can find out about that. Glad it is somewhat working again.

In case you don't see this on daily chat, I'll post here too:
Merry - just a thought - you could reinstall IE or is there a way to reset it to default settings? I don't ever use it, but am thinking out loud. lol

Well - another mystery solved. I was on FB, and happened to look up...and the black bar was GONE. My close, minimize and restore buttons are back from wherever they went! I don't get it, but I won't argue with success!!

Sue - yeah! that was my first step. Usually that will fix anything. I also tried doing a restore back a week. Nothing... Just a mystery.
