I can't believe it is September already. I don't have any new and exciting changes to my routine. But, I wanted to let you all know that I still work out regularly.
I walk the dog every day 2 or 3 times for a total of about 30 minutes - not sure about distance.
I go to the gym two or three days a week and take a one-hour water aerobics class. It's a great workout. After class, I swim laps for 10-15 minutes.
I've been thinking about finding a tai chi class to take. I read such good things about it. But, I haven't seen any classes advertised. I think I'll make a suggestion at the gym that they start a class. They have yoga and zumba and spinning, plus some other stuff--a little too vigorous for me.

Merry, I bought a cd last year on tai chi and another one for the morning workout...similar to tai chi. I enjoy it. I can't get anyone to go to classes with me, so I just do it at home.

Just stopping by to say that I started my working out again. Lil early to be telling you this as this is the first day. I will try to keep it up. Only 2 minutes on TM and did some one lb weights. I could really feel that. I do believe I would feel less tired if I got used to working out. I seriously have to wonder if I really can work up to a decent time. My breathing is not good. Not having been this bad before I really don’t know what to expect. I may not do exercise everyday for a while. Four times a week would be good. That is what I used to do.

There it went again. The 9th was the day I started to feel sick. I know because Saturday the 10th was when we went for haircuts and all I wanted to do was sleep. That day I went to bed at 2PM and up to eat dinner and to bed again about 5PM and slept thru the night and most of the next day.
Today is the first day I am active much. Still not real chipper. I will be a bit getting back to it. Wanted to let you know. I laid in bed so much this past week and am sore from that. That is not healthy either.

I went out to Montclair Plaza yesterday. I walked the whole length twice, back and forth.. My sciatic hurt but I kept going anyway. I figure I got in 2 miles. After all was said and done, it felt like I'd walked that far. I know I slept like a log last night:) I always go somewhere where I can get out and walk.
I almost got ran over by a kid pushing a small stroller. It could've caused me some real ouches:) He would've knocked me off balanace. I don't need another fall. Kid's shouldn't be allowed to push those strollers ahead of or behind parents. He almost nailed me.
