I decided today to talk a walk while it was still cool outside and then catch the bus home. I walked about 2 miles. I could've walked further, but didn't want to overdo it. I walked to first bus stop and caught the bus there. I just wonder if I walk everday and build myself up, if I can walk all the way home. Starting at the post office, the walk goes uphill. More of a steady incline. Good lungs, no problem, bad lungs, you make it with effort. I use to walk it all the time when there was a bus stop bench. I could sit and catch my breath and then walk on home.

You're lucky that you have public transportation that can rescue you when needed. We don't even have taxis, much less buses It's nice for you --- I always had to use a treadmill because if I went too far outside, I worried I wouldn't be able to get home.

I am still not doing well with exercise. I have not given up. I missed only 3 days and then I did everything this past Thursday except the TM. I almost got to the TM but almost does not count. I missed Friday and Saturday I did only the warm-ups and the PLB. That ugly stress raised its head again. I am still trying. I should really try tomorrow. Not sure if I can. Joe is really feeling bad and my Mother is coming home tomorrow. I will try.

Mary - even doing the warm-ups is doing something! I'm proud of you for doing that much. You are keeping it in your mind and making an effort. You get brownie points for that!
So your mother comes home tomorrow. Have you arranged for some help for her? Bathing, etc. Please try not to get overwhelmed. Close your eyes and breathe. Meditate. Breathe....

I walked again yesterday. I stopped and had breakfast in downtown San Dimas. My legs hurt from he day before but thought get the blood circulating and it won't hurt as much. haha I have a problem sitting down as it really hurts then:) I'm going to not walk today and give my leg muscles a rest.
Mary, it's important that exercise is on your mind and that you try and you're still moving forward.
Sorry to hear about Joe not feeling well at all. Is he still on chemo?

I've been busy cleaning my apt today. That's exercise, right? I've got lots of energy today. I went out to plaza and bought two books for my granddaughter. So that was more walking from one end to the other.

One thing about the exercise is that it is on my mind all the time. My breathing is such that I cannot forget it. My Mother coming home has been somewhat overwhelming in a way. It will get better. I have not worked out until yesterday. Yesterday I did everything except the TM. I did increase my warmups to 5 times from 3 times each. I really expect next week to be better, I hope. There have been 2 and 3 people a day here to see my Mother. Once this is all setup and gets in a routine it should be better. She has people coming everyday. She is getting the help and do see a little improvement each day. I need to do me.

Mary, with people coming and going it is so distracting. It's hard to just go off and exercise while people are there. Maybe if you set a certain time to exercise and ask that you be given that time to do you exercises in private. Peace and quiet.
I didn't go outside to walk today, so walked the hallways here where I live. I checked time when I headed out and got about 20-25 minutes in. The hallways are cool and you can't over heated like outside.

It got hot quick outside yesterday, so in the afternoon I took myself for another walk around the hallways here. I got on 2nd floor and it was warm, so came home and turned a/c on and was sweating off my head:( I started drinking lots of water to stay hydrated. Sweating like that de-hydrates my kidney's and I don't need that.
I walked about 20 minutes.
