I walked about 3-1/2 hours yesterday at the festival and about 2 hours today. I don't walk fast and if in a store, I'll walk with a shopping basket to take off some of pressure on my lungs. Pat

I went to mall today and ended up walking about 2 hours. Didn't check my time. In fact thinking back, it was probably closer to 2-1/2 hours. Pat

I'm still going to the gym 3 times a week. Working out on the leg press: 3 sets of 6 at 160 pounds. And then an hour of water aerobics, followed by swimming a few laps to keep my shoulder loose. Nothing new or different - but I'm still enjoying it so no need to change anything, I guess.

I went to pt yesterday and my pt put me on a stationery bicycle. I probably did 20 minutes on it. It was set for 1/2 hour but he had me get off to do some walking and my other exercises. My sciatic nerve is acting up. That makes doing some things painful...

Good for you, Pat! 20 minutes is a long bike ride -- my thighs would be burning. Not to mention my rear end ;D

Nice to see you Lynn. I haven't heard back from that woman - hope it helped. I'm trying to keep up at the gym - it's hard this time of year, with all the other stuff we have to do. But, I've only missed one class (and that was really because it was just too cold for me to want to go ) Classes have been small as a lot of the others have missed. One of the other girls just found out she has breast cancer - what a thing to learn right at Christmas - so I'm guessing she'll be out for a while. Teacher has been taking advantage of the small classes to have us do exercises we normally don't have room to do...so I have some sore muscles. We've been doing side-steps across the pool and also riding our noodles for pool laps using just our legs or just our arms. Pfew!! It will wear you out.

I went to the Montclair Mall and was out there3 hrs and 45 minutes. I did walking and some sitting. My sciatic nerve is acting up and I have a ingrown toenail on my left foot. I wore my homely comfy shoes:) Unfortunately it doesn't help with the sciatic nerve....
