Well, the month is half over, and nobody's posted anything. Either we're too lazy to exercise, or we're too lazy to type in what we did. ;D I'm still going to the gym Monday, Wednesday and Friday for a 1 hour water aerobics class. I use the leg press machine before class and today I increased the weight to 160#. I had no problem with this weight, so may bump it up another notch to 167.5 on Wednesday. I walk every day with the dog - 2-3 times per day for a total of about 1/2 to 3/4 mile. So, what have you been doing?

While in Oceanside, I did alot of walking at various sightseeing places. Pooped me out:) Then yesterday I went Christmas shopping and walked 4 1/2 hours. I got a post card from YMCA while I was gone and they invited me to some kind've exercise classes held m-w-f of each week. Thought I'd check it out and will attend if I can do the exercises.
btw, when my allergies let up, my breathing improves about 100%. I have the allergies really bad sometimes.

I am still around doing pretty much the same things. walking on the tm,breathing and weight exercises. Just to boring for myself. lol every once in a while i do ride my stationary bike. Merry what do you think of that copd support site. I see that you are one of the members. i am also a member as Jebin. The site seems confusing to me. hard to believe it is almost Thanksgiving.

Lynn - which site do you mean? I am a member on several sites, but rarely visit them. Some send me emails periodically asking for updates--which I do--but otherwise, I am not active on them. I have never been one to dwell on my physical problems. Some people seem to spend every second of their time thinking about the fact that they have COPD and can't do stuff, and worrying about every little change in the their sats, etc.--like COPD is their only identification. I always preferred to see what I could do and not worry about what I couldn't - and to stay busy to keep my mind off my problems Honestly--it drives my husband crazy!!

I am not working out because I have a few health issues but still plan to. Guess I might plan to do that forever. Too personal to explain this one online. Lynn, Did you mean the one that actually is named "COPD Support". If so, that was a split off of 'COPD Information' one. I also belong but I never could get into it. I spoke up some, as others did, when it started. It just doesn't have a good feel about it. I have not even checked in over a year now. I picked a lot in the beginning but then settled for two. CI and this one. Each serves a different purpose. I just wish more people would come over here and get acquainted and get their minds off COPD so much. Especially ones that don't get out a lot. Have a good weekend.

A while back a spent about a week getting exercise by lifting boxes and such. Seriously, I noticed the improvement. I should be able to start next week I hope. I had a small problem fro a while now and not want to talk about it but will soon be better because I went to the doctor today, ugh! It is sort of personal but now I have the right medicine for the irritates me. Lynn, I went to the COPD Support that I know and signed in and you are not there as jebin. So, where is yours. The one I know is copdforum.portalone.us/default.asp and I don't care for it. I cannot even imagine what a point system is. Real curious now. Have a good weekend. Lynn, did you get all moved yet.

Mary - the site is BetterBreathingLivingWell.com (also at copdsupport.com) -- however, I am not a member. At least they say I'm not. It looks familiar, but I was unable to log on and they can't find my email addy, so guess not.

Merry; That is odd. You type in COPDsupport.com and upcomes breathingbetterlivingwell.com. That seems strange because there is a forum called COPD Support and if you thought you belonged to COPD Support, this may be the one. copdforum.portalone.us/default.aspI belong to it. Remember the one Wes used to do. This link above was the break off of that. I joined it but never liked it at all. Some regulars go there. That is their name COPD Support. Interesting. I never had any interest in the other one either. I didn't see anything about points or whatever it was. I did walk 2 minutes on TM but first time in many weeks. Not sure what will happen. It is really getting stressful here. I will really really try. I really need to walk, and/or exercise. I was going to do weights after but we ate dinner early and I fell asleep about 4pm and got up 8pm. grrrr.

Well well well, here it is 12:55am somthing and wide awake. Was in a deep sleep but crazy dream and woke up. Predn predn oh how I love my predn. I sleep 1 hrs and wide awake. Guess that is what I am going to call exercise for this week anyway. Getting up, going to the power room and then sit at the computer. Thanks to the sweet Lord I am not in the hospital. So right now I will take what sleep I can get when I can get it and will do productive things (like this) ha ha, the rest of the time.
