Happy September. Fall is on the way, and the heat is beginning to leave. So.... we now have no excuse not to exercise. let's get at it!
Went to the gym this morning and worked on the leg press for 3 sets of 6 at 150#. Then did one hour of water aerobics. Walked the dog twice for a total of about 1/2 a mile.
I'm sitting here looking at my hand weights and thinking I need to do a little upper body work..... just thinking, not doing ;D

Hi Merry; I FINALLY got on the TM today for 2 minutes. I was feeling fairly good and thought I would do more but turned out it was all I could do with the 2 minutes. 2 was the plan. Later my breathing did suffer more. I hope this is the beginning AGAIN. Altho I have been here before and then something happens. Been watching the weight for a couple weeks. Now hope to stay up on both. You always do well. You are an inspiration.

Mary - I'm glad you're getting back into it....I know how hard it is to get started. I've already been out walking with the dog twice this morning...he's very demanding at times . So, I've already put in about 1/2 mile. It's a beautiful morning, so I really don't mind. It's so nice that we're having a break from the humidity and the heat (a little).

Have done the usual things most of the week. Walked on the tm,breathing and 1 pound weight exercises and pt exercises for back every other day. lynn

I went to the gym yesterday, as usual. We have company for the weekend, so not sure what I'll be doing.

Happy Labor Day. I still have company, but snuck away to the gym this morning. Believe it or not, the place was packed. Got in a good workout, though.

Today I did the usual. Saturday I rode the stationary bike for 27 minutes,thought it might be a change. also worked in the flowers Sat and Sun. Sad too see the flowers fading. You are right Merry you wouldn't think the gym would be so busy on labor day. Come and join us Mary and Pat. lynn

Company finally went home and I got a good workout cleaning the house and changing sheets. Ugh! Went to the gym this morning. Leg press: 3 sets of 6 at 152.5# plus my aerobics class. I feel great
