I don't get out and walk in parks or sidewalk walking, but I do get to malls and Sam's Club and stroll and walk. Combination. My point is I keep moving.
Does anyone know the best way to build upper arms? Since I lost all this weight, I have some x-tra skin in places I don't need it:)

howdy. i thought this would be a good place to keep track of my walking etc. i try to walk everyday except Sunday. i have a tm and try to do at least 20 minutes also work with 1 pound weights to do some upper body exercises. seems like any thing over 1 pound mess's my shoulder up. also do some yard work from time to time. for me it is very important to keep moving. like pat said keep moving. and by the way pat. if you find out what to do for upper arm loose skin let me know. i have been doing the same exercise's for at least two years and cant tell a bit of difference. lol have you seen that commercial where you hold the weight looking thing and it supposedly jiggles the weight off. lol hope to meet everyone soon. lynn

Hi Pat and Hi Lynn. Lynn, I am not working out yet. I need to talk to my doctor tomorrow about my breathing. I am just way sob from normal. Just went thru this and now back. I had just got started AGAIN on a workout schedule and trying to get back to where I was about 2 years ago. Every time I start something happens and I stop. I was doing good. I started at 2 min. on TM and got up to 10 min. Was working for just 20 for a while. Ultimately would like to get to 40. Even when I used to work out regularly I only made it to 35 or 36. I used to use 2 lb weights. I got up to 3 lbs several years back but it was a struggle and the RT suggested I go back to the 2 lb and just do more reps. I am going to put together some websites that have exercising input and will make it a separate post. If I can remember, I will ask about the upper body question you have. Happy walking and breath easy.
