I am quite pleased with myself. For having only done 6 minutes on the cycle Sunday, today was a good workout, for me. I did 30 minutes on the cycle. Always assume I did warmups because I was taught that way. I did the TM and to get my total below, I had to get back on and do the last 2 minutes separate but I got it. You might even say "I nailed it!" TM 10 minutes @ 1.1I am very pleased about this for a starting over again. Now I can get going sooner. I don't think I overdid it because I have not been sick, and have been moving around a lot. The thing I have is called a Recumbent Cycle and the picture is below. Mine doesn't look as fancy but it is the style. What I really like is what we have at rehab and it is the Nustep. This one might be a little fancier than a few of our older ones. I would like to have one of these. You can do the arms, and the legs. Of course, I would have to buy a house for it to fit in. I don't have money for that. It has taken me over 3 hours to finish posting this one post. Too many interruptions.

Here I am, finally. . . . . Didn't think I would ever make it here today. This was an extremely stressful day. I have committed to myself that I will workout. It was not easy but I did the same as yesterday. One slight improvement. I did the complete TM in one time and not two. 30 minutes on the cycle plus warmups that I will not keep mentioning and . . TM 10 minutes @ 1.1Long way from you Merry. Even at my best years ago I did 1.8 and 35 or 36 minutes. I cannot come near to what you do. My weights were 2 lbs and tried 3 and they put me back to 2 lbs and went for endurance more. I hope to be here tomorrow. Expect some stress again. Will try to hang on here.

I worked on endurance first, then added speed and/or weight. It is the right way to do it. I think you're doing great! Everyone is different, and we can't compare ourselves to others -- only to our own standards. LOL - your toad looks like he's constipated!! Talk about stress!

Welllll, Merry, I don't really know just what to tell you about my toad ;D ;D
Today turned into a workout day off. It is okay. We had some stressful things to deal with and I knew going into the day. I am relieved that the day went as well as it did. Tomorrow I will be right back on schedule. I used to take Wednesdays off but didn't plan any this time because just started back.
See you tomorrow. BTW, my turtle is watching out for everyone that is coming in. See him looking both ways. ;D ;D

We're all entitled to a day off once in a while!! It's happy Friday, and I went to the gym and did my usual. Nothing extra. Will see you bright and early Monday morning.

A break is okay but still when you only worked out 2 days and then take a break is not really a 'much needed break'. lol Thanks for making me feel better anyway. I did right again today. I got the 30 on the cycle and TM 10 minutes @ 1.1I was really struggling on the TM and thought because my granddaughter had walked in the room. However, after I was done Joe checked the tank I was using and it was empty. I don't know how long it was empty. I pushed a little further than I should have to finish. I thought it was me but could have been the o2. I normally don't do the over pushing but feel so bad that I am always stepping backwards. I hook up to a tank at the TM and then I can turn the o2 up without having to go to the other end of the house to the concentrator. It works well for me. When I am in better shape I can probably walk with what I have on the concentrator set at. Have a great weekend Merry and take a couple days off.

Mary - that happened to me at rehab once. I was working away, and commented on how hard a time I was having. Was afraid I was getting sick. I just happened to glance at the tank, and it was empty! No wonder! I learned to keep a closer eye on the gauge after that.
