I did 22 mins. @1.3 at a .5 incline. I am not going to touch the weights for another week, don't want to live with that back pain again and I hate the drugs LOL !! How I am going to get thru transplant is anyones guess LOL!! Maybe I'll like their drugs better !! ;D
Wendy, I sure hope your feeling better and hope to see you in here soon!!
Martha, how are you doing ?
I hope Pat is enjoying her vacation !!

Colleen - That's awesome walking on an incline. I've never been brave enough to even try it.
I walked 30 minutes at 1.6 and did about a mile on the recumbent bike. I also did 5 weight machines, did two or three exercises with hand weights (arm curls 15 reps w/10# each arm, and a couple I don't know how to describe ;D ) and did 15 reps of toe lifts on each leg (this is easy to do at home and is great for building up calf muscles).
I've been wondering about Wendy, too. She's been sick too long!
I know Pat must be having wonderful time.

Funny thing about the incline, I didn't even know it was set at .5 till I was almost done so I have left it there. One of these days I will make it to 30 mins. !!
Sounds like you had a great work out today !!

Way to go Martha and Colleen. I envy you. Colleen, please be careful. Nothing wrong with slow.
I was trying to start a new life today but something kept me too sleepy. I did everything right except working out. I am watching my food intake and did that well. I plan to go to rehab tomorrow but have to start slow. I am starting again.
Wendy is still recovering slowly. I don't email her often but was concerned and she said it is just going slow and she is taking it easy.

BRAVO on walking an incline, Colleen. I have to hand it to you. Flat is good for me but even small inclines give me grief. Today it will be a lot of walking starting with the lake park, then a horseback ride. Tonight I'll do either wall push ups or hand weights.

This is not much but it is something. Anything is better than nothing with the shape I am in.
I did upper and lower warmup exercises of 5 each (10 of them). I only did 2 minutes on TM. Still, this is more than nothing. I will try to increase each day.
We didn't go to rehab. I don't think Joe wanted to go. I can always work out at home. I am really in bad shape.

This is good. I am talking (posting) to myself here. It is not a biggy yet BUT, I did the same thing that I did yesterday BUT I added one more minute to the TM. Now I am doing 3 minutes. OMG, can I feel this. I am so sorry that I got so weakened. You don't see it by looking at me. I didn't realize how bad it was myself until I tried to exercise. Maybe by the time anyone returns here, I will have caught up with myself. Slowly, I go.
