Hello; I hope I really get back here on a regular basis. That is my plan, but you never know . . .
Not the biggest start but a start. . .
15 minutes on the bike thing today. Also my warmups. So out of shape again that I started with that. Expect to add the TM tomorrow. I started this way once before.
It is threatening big monsoon storm right now. Humidity is up. I have been in the house all day but sure struggling with my breathing. My family says cannot effect me inside but not sure I believe that.
Hope everyone's week starts off good.

Tell your family that I said the weather follows you everywhere!! If it's humid outside, it is harder to breathe inside. I know, the AC should handle it, but it doesn't! I went to the gym yesterday and did a full workout. Walked the TM 30 minutes at 2.7 mph. I increased the reps on my arm exercises. I am still keeping the weight at 40 lbs for them, just doing more. Leg exercises are staying at 60 lbs. They don't seem to be getting any easier, so maybe I'll just stay at that weight. It's not like I want to be a body builder.

Nothing to brag about but I am back. Day 2. Didn't add much but added. I did the bike again for 15 minutes and warmups.
TM @ 1.1 for 2 minutes
As said nothing to brag about. I am really still getting SOB when I move around. Even more than usual on the bike. If I sit and play Free Cell, I go up to 97 saturation, otherwise low 90's.
You just do great Merry. I am very happy for you. Sounds like life it good for now. Enjoy it.

Same old, same old..... Went to the gym - did my normal routine - came home. Blah, blah, blah. Don't you get sick of hearing the same thing day after day?
I'm not surpised you are having trouble breathing, Mary. July and August are always the worst weather. Hang in there.

Wow, Merry, you are right on, I hope, about the breathing. Whoa! I woke up this morning and just could not get the air going. Much worse than usual. I just wanted a chance to breath or would have called doctor. Decided I would take a xanax thinking the stress may have caught up with me.
I have not been using xanax. Usually I take a half. I took a whole one of .25 mg. I slept until 5 PM. In the past if I kept moving I didn't sleep but today could not stay away. Breathing is better. I wasted the day though. I also got that awful lethgaric feeling and I don't like it.
I didn't try to work out. I will tomorrow as long as the breathing is okay. I am going to start nebulizer again for a while. See if it helps. I just don't because I have not needed it. It is okay with Dr. I have the meds. I had Joe set up the nebulizer when I got up but then I went back to sleep.
Thanks Merry for being patient and understanding with me.

I am here. Doing better, in my book. Ok, today I did the TM and improved it. Hard to not improve 2 minutes. For me, it can be. My bike plan is to find a time to watch something I like on TV. Later in the day for that is okay but I cannot wait too late or I mess it up like today. We ate dinner early today. I was real tired and laid down after dinner. I didn't get up in the 40 minutes I set the clock for. It was 7 PM by the time I got up. The bike is in a bedroom and I have to ride earlier than that. I am okay because the bike is not a big challenge. I can ride it. I do plan to work up to 20 or 30 minutes on it. I am not sure how much yet. The hardest is the TM and so I am pleased enough for today. I am back to my up and down and cleaning. TM 5 minutes @ 1.1

Good job Mary.
I had a good workout today. The gym is getting to be quite busy at the time I go -- I think several people must work in the schools and are off for the summer (just guessing).
I walked 30 minutes at 2.7 mph and did all my exercise machines. Arm/upper body machines (3 different ones) each 3 sets of 10 at 50 pounds (except rowing machine at 40 pounds). 2 leg machines 3 sets of 6 at 60 pounds. And the leg press 3 sets of 10 at 130 pounds.
Then went to the drug store and the grocery store. Busy morning!!

Merry, I am looking for school to 'start up' here. My freshmen start dates are 10th and 11th. My 6th grader starts 17th, all in August.
Not a lot better but up a tiny bit. I did do the bike for 20 minutes today. I don't remember what the bike does for you. It is easy enough that I cannot imagine it doing anything too positive.
TM 6 minutes @ 1.1 (this is hard. I would love to be walking longer.)
Have a great weekend Merry. You deserve a break today. hee, hee.
