I'm glad everyone has been keeping up with their workouts! I'm very proud of you all.
I don't know where I'm going to go to exercise now that we've moved. I go to the transplant clinic next week for my check-up. I will ask their recommendation for both a doctor and a rehab center. I don't know if there is one anywhere near us.
I've been getting plenty of exercise with packing, moving and unpacking, plus all the trips to the store for little things you need to get settled in. But that will wear off soon, and I'll have to do something!

Nobody else seems to be answering and I hesitated because I was bad today and didn't get outside for my walk. I used very excuse under the sun and now I feel terrible-like when you rationalized another cig ugh-More determination for tommorrow.

I have been slacking!!!! I am going back to rehab starting next week. Was there today for a 6 min. walk test and I had to stop at 4:15 for a minute because I was so sob, then finished. I only walked 800 ft. today hope its enough to keep me on the list!!
The new rehab is really nice, 2x the size of the old one with new machines so I am really looking forward to it so I will be posting next week.
Sheila, glad you have joined us, always room for new ones!

I haven't exercised the last few days. Not feeling all that great. Couldn't today, as it's raining:) I did go to Ross and Von's and walked quite a bit. So I don't feel too bad. As Scarlett said, 'Tomorrow's another Day'. Pat

I sort of hate to admit it but I am just sort of bummed out. Nothing that bad but maybe compounding things around us. I think maybe each time I start to pick myself up, something else happens. As I said, nothing that important, at least most of it isn't. Lost another member at CI,, ClaireFl. That was a negative for me yesterday. Lost a lot of people there the past year.
I am trying to work on some foods for a diet that we want to follow more strict until I get started. It is takng time and not fun to me but I want to do it. I need to get the stuff in the house first.
That affects my weight. Merry, so glad to see you back. Sue is always getting exercise. Pat, just don't overdo it if not feeling too good.
Good luck tomorrow Colleen; You will be fine.

Well, since I don't have a rehab center yet, and I don't have room for my TM here, I am joining the slackers. I did go to the grocery strore today and walked there. It's a small store (smaller than I'm used to, anyway) but I gave it my best shot. This is a small town, and people are friendly. It's had to exercise when everyone you see speaks and wants to take the time to chat! Nice...but contrary to my motives!!
I need to go to WalMart tomorrow, so will get in a little more of a workout there. It's taking some time getting used to a small town again!

This was my long week at work, so I did my usual there. I also got in a 10 min walk at the park. I wanted to double the lap, but after the first one I figure I better not over- do it.I forgot there is a difference in just walking and everything else I normally do. Yesterday I took 2 yr old Kayleigh for a walk. That was a slooow walk, but better than nothing. I was able to do a slight incline and it didnt make me SOB like usual. (maybe going so slow helped?)
Merry, can you walk around your neighborhood? Find ways to substitute your leg lifts and stuff?
Hi Sheila, the more the merrier here, so welcome!

Obviously, I have to come up with some solution. One of the main deterrents to my going out to exercise is that my portable only does pulse, and only up to 3 liters. At rehab, I've been using 4 liters continuous for exercise -- and believe me, there is a huge difference!! So, if I want to work out, it has to be at a rehab center or in my house with my big concentrator. I'll figure it out in time.

Oh my, I'm not the only one not posting here I see................. I hope you guys have been getting something done every day, even if you havent been posting. I took a 10 min walk outside yesterday, I was so out of breathe. I think it was a combination of being out of shape and the change in weather so allergy stuff time. That just usually gets me stuffy, but who knows this year? the old I get the more things change, lol.
