Good Afternoon,
I hope everyone is well. We have been getting lots of rain Fortunately Saturday was nice and sunny. We had my brother and sister-in-law and my mom here for a bbq. I hadn't seen my brother for a year. It was great to see them. Since my brother quit smoking he has a terrible phlegmy cough. Apparently the Dr sent him for a breathing test. (The one we're all familiar with) His wife told us that he got part way through the test and decided that the test was too long and walked out. I don't know how he expects to get any help if he won't sit through a couple of tests. My mom says she's been getting panic attacks at night. She says she wakes up and feels like she's choking on phlegm. She's complained of this before but when the Dr suggests something, she always says lets wait till the next visit. I told her to take whatever he wants to give her and don't put it off again. That's my vent for today. lol
Ken - I'm so pleased that Puff is doing so well. I bet you're on top of the world. He's so lucky to have you.
Sue - How are you doing? Is Amy still well? The 2 dogs look like they're having a great time together.
Debbie - Hope you're good.

Hey family, I hope all are well and enjoying the summer. with all the wild fires, I feel sorry for anyone living close enough to get the smoke. Ii is so sad to see the thousands of acres of timber lost [lus the homes and animals. Be safe and be aware.
Cheryl, I am glad you had a good time. The health of those close to us is really something I can't be worried about. I pray and put it in God's hands because I cannot do anything about it. Every adult must make their own choices as God has given all of us free will. Each of us choose and not nearly enough think of the results of our choices. I wish I had been wise enough to think this through before I lost my health. I am over the moon excited and happy Puff can see again. He is feeling so well now that he wants to play but I need to keep him idled back for now till the doctor releases him so he doesn't jar an implant loose.
I send love and prayers for all, Ken

Hi Cheryl and Ken All is about the same in my area. We are having rain, high humidity and high temps. It's keeping me indoors under my air conditioner. I had a doctors visit the other day & had a PFT test done. My FEV1 is down to 16% so that explains why I've been having more problems breathing recently. Cheryl, Family time is so precious! I don't get enough of it and need to find time to have more family time. I agree with Ken about worrying about family and their health problems. My younger brother has multiple health problems that he won't do what he needs to do to help himself. All I can do is pray for him. Ken, I'm so happy to hear your fur baby can now see and enjoy life once again!
Praying you all have good breathing days.

Ken, that's wonderful news about Puff!! We have gotten the wildfire smoke out here too, my breathing is suffering because of it.
My Amy is doing great! Her reconstruction surgery is in November. She started back to work 2 wks ago. The dr's say it's a 2-3% chance of recurrence, but that's in God's hands. My mutts are mostly a blessing lol. I swear watching them play reminds me of my boys when they were little...I tell them after laughing comes crying cuz it'll get out of hand and the pup Benny will cry lol. Charlotte, the large one usually plays real gentle with him. They are good company tho. My 19 yo grandson is still living with me. He's such a good kid! Im trying to get out a bit more often for photography now that Amy's ok. Im making pendants and selling those. Take care my family
