Good Afternoon,
I hope everyone is well and staying safe. I am glad I ended up getting Pfizer for my 2nd shot. I am hearing that it has better coverage than the 2nd shot of AstraZenaca. I'll be so glad when everything gets back to normal. I think we're going to be wearing masks for awhile yet.
We are allowed to have outside gatherings of 10 people. We are celebrating Addy's birthday tomorrow (Saturday) here at our house. We haven't all been together in soooo long. I'm really looking forward to it.
Ken - How did the Vet visit go? Are they able to fix your pups eyes? Thank you for the tip on the deep breathing.
Debbie - I haven't been active since the pandemic either. From the sounds of it, I better start getting some exercise again. Dave and I used to walk almost every night, but we haven't been doing that lately.
Enjoy your evening!

Debbie, you're welcome. We've lost so many friends. I know how your feeling about having to start over with exercising. I do also.
Cheryl, have fun and enjoy the birthday party! Hard to believe Addie is that old already
Ken, Charlotte is my girl already, even when she's naughty. We're still dealing with her anxiety so she's going into a cage now instead of free range when alone. She doesn't like it, but at least she gets a puzzle toy smeared with peanut butter lol

Good morning Family, it is going to be toasty today.
Cheryl, I hope you have a great time at the party and wish Addy a happy birthday from your friends South of the boarder. Puff spent the day in testing yesterday. The doctor said he is sure they can restore his sight with lens implants, so next Friday he goes in for surgery. I want to take a moment and share how God blesses His people. Last Sunday evening friends stopped by and dropped off $500 for Puff withouth knowing what we were up against. Living on VA disability doesn't allow for frivolities so Joy and I were just praying "Your will be done concerning Puff." When I met the doctor and he found out I was a veteran and Puff was my registered service dog he said he was giving us 25% discount. The initial visit was $300 and the testing yesterday was $1,000 after discount. When we talked to the doctor yesterday he said that he wanted to invest in Puff's health and said he would do the lens implants for $4,000 when the surgery should be $4,500 to $5,00 per eye. We had not told the doctor anything about our financial situation and all I could do was thank him and thank God for helping. The other blessing was God teaching me to swallow my pride and accept the help He sent to us. In the past I would have refused the $500 and insisted on paying the bill on Puff. God is so good!
I send love and prayers for all, Ken
