I am not sure if I told you I have been dealing with high blood pressure. My husband got one of the machines to check his blood pressure. I went for a doctor's appointment and had rather high blood pressure. I have been checking mine a couple times a week, after my Dr. put me on BP medicine.
Today I checked it and it was 190 over 113. If anyone has had this problem, could you let me know how you handled it?

Linda, they have doubled my daily BP med and added a bata blocker. My BY runs high 150's over 95 and if I do any exertion it can go 210/180. I go to the neurologist on 4-17 to check for dysautonomia which we have been trying to deal with since 2012. They believe this is the cause of vertigo and black outs.

Linda - Dave has high BP too. He's on BP meds. It took a couple visits to the Dr before they got dosage right.

Thank you both for the information. My doctor wanted me to go to a Cardiologist. Bill is having a fit over the Doctor bills, rightfully so. After hearing the readings you got and Cheryl controlling her husbands HP with the medicine. I cancelled that appointment. I also have a little spot on my cheekbone that has been there for a couple of years. It gets red and scabby, falls off and comes back to being red scabby. I cancelled that one too. If it is cancer I figure it would take forever to do any real damage. I'll probably be 10 ft. under by then.
Thank you both again.

Linda - Dave has a BP machine too, but we found out that over time it doesn't take the right measurement. I think last time he did his here at home, the machine was 10 - 15 points wrong.
