Someone over on CI started a new forum from what I read. It's closed so you would have to join. I take it is closed because of spammers. I have not checked out either site. linklink

I am just sad that COPD International is closing~~

I got here from Facebook..lots of really bummed out folks over there.I can't tell you the number of people that are frightened and ready to give up...I will post day to day with COPD every chance I get.. we all know were gonna die it just sucks to have a doctor confirm it...Even if it may not be for 40 years.

Katie, if you make a few changes in your life you can live. Pretty good long life with this disease. Some dr's scare you but there is hope and help. Glad you found us and hope we will be able to help you!!

Hi Katie, Colleen is right. Positive changes help. Exercise is a biggie for me. 3 yrs ago I couldn't walk up a slight hill let alone stairs easily. I slowly started walking daily, 10 min was all I could do. Now I'm at 90 min, I could do more. I tent camp and hike. I'm not giving up because of COPD
