It sure is. It'd be so nice if transplant could become a whole lot easier in every way. Thanks for posting the link

The lady from the treatment center called today. She sent me a bunch of attachments to explain everything. I did find out a few things that puzzled me.
The procedure costs $8,500. It is not covered by insurance. They have several different areas that are doing this. Texas, NYC, Southern state but not sure which one, and Florida. There are two different procedures one of them is an injection of stem cells and ambrionic fluid. It attacks cells that are inflammed. It helps with osteoarthritis, Kidney infections, heart problems etc. The other procedure is lengthy. The first one can be given by our own Doctor.
There were a few things that didn't really make a lot of sense to me. Another thing, I knew more about lung disease then she did. I am going to follow up with it and I'm going to send the email she gave me to anyone that would like a copy of it. I am hoping you and Colleen could read everything and tell me what you think. I don't have your email address and I'm not sure if Colleen's has changed. I've got all the time in the world to look into it.

Linda, they had something similar to this a few years back and it proved to be no help at all and just cost a lot of money, please, please do a lot of research before you do anything like this and if it is a trial of some sort you should not have to pay to get the treatments. Just be very careful because if there was something like this that actually worked you can bet that the dr's would be doing this and we would be hearing about it on the news!! The old saying~if it sounds too good to be true it probably is~~
Let me know if you find any other info about this, I am curious to see if other have done this and if they have had any real improvement in their lung function~~

Also The more I read the more I don't like it, you have to leave the country to get it done and they are bashing transplants and the drugs and I have to ask just what kind of company does this when they are life saving surgery's??? PLEASE be very careful with this!!! GO to the testament part and read, these people didn't even have lung disease!

The one I told you about doesn't require you to have it in another country. They mentioned a few anything places the U.S. The ones I was interested in were in Florida and Pennsylvania. I am looking into this with my eyes wide open. I am taking it to my Pulmonologist today and see what he has to say about it. Thank you Colleen. I'm glad you looked into. I have been suspicious also. Definitely requires a lot of information about this before I would ever try it.
