Then according to this my asthma is giving me worse problems than my copd.

It sure can Sue. My Asthma is triggered by allergens as well as exercise and heat also is a factor. You need to know your Asthma triggers and affects every bit as much as COPD. I do believe Asthma unattended will kill quicker than COPD. The worst part of an Asthma attack is the panic when you can't get a breath. Controlled breathing is the key. Know when you need your rescue inhaler and know when you need the Neb. I have gotten into trouble because I sometimes won't use the Neb because it charges my heart so bad. When I get in trouble, Valium helps calm me down so I can better control my breathing.
