Good morning Peeps, I hope all are having a better day/week. We in AZ are suffering from the loss of 19 of our fire fighters in thw wild fires burning in the little town of Yarnel. It is about 40 miles from where I live and the smoke is very heavy. Thankfull we are in vacation and out of the area. Our home is down on the desert floor and is in no danger.
Blessings to all, better breathing, Ken

I heard this late last nite. Such a tragedy and the poor families. I hope no more lives are lost and Ken I hope the smoke does not get there. I am assuming from your post, that the smoke has not gotten there right at this point.

We have 2 threads going today...eeny meeny miney mo!! Ken - I'm glad you are still on vacation and away from the fire. The tragedy is such a heart breaker. So many young men. They said their average age was only 22. Such a shame. We are still in a rainy spell. For the past week, we've had more rain than clear weather. The grass is growing like crazy and I appreciate the moisture...but I'm getting tired of getting wet every time I go anywhere Pat - you said you are down to 108 pounds...how tall are you? That is so thin. I know it's hard for you to cook with your hip like it is. Can you buy frozen foods that you can quickly microwave? How about getting a pizza delivered? (lots of calories there!!) I can get a large pizza and eat on it for several days just heating up a slice at a time. Of course, I've always said I could live on nothing but pizza with no problem--I figure it's the perfect food...it covers all the basic food groups Ice cream is also great for putting on weight. And peanut butter. Nothing much going on. My router is still working - Yay!! Went to the gym this morning. Still raining. That's about it.... I'll check back later.

Afternooon everyone...raining to beat the band here...going to I guess all week. Lots of flood warnings.
Awful about those firefighters...God Bless them and their families.
Pat, glad the heart is good but you need to put on weight, I did carnation instant breakfast and made milk shakes, put on 10 pounds in like 6 weeks before transplant, my low weight almost kept me off the list~~the ensure will help, throw some ice cream in it and make a shake and Merry is right, peanut butter is great, have it on English Muffins and stuff, great source of protein also. Hope the therapy is a great help to you, we can't have you falling anymore......
Ken, glad your away from the fires~
Merry, glad the router finally installed...having a go round with my printers....supposed to be wireless but both keep failing, have to get up and plug in my lap top and this is after re installing and downloading all updates and drivers, worked fine for a few months then BANG...nothing...so frustrating!!!! AND with your bones I wouldn't recommend volleyball~~~
Sue, sorry your vacation is about over but glad you had fun.
Not much going on here, did the recycling & garbage this morning then a trip to walmart, I hate going there, the store is in a not so nice area and its not a nice store....but this the closest one and I didn't feel like driving to another one.
This rain is just crazy, can barely hear my self with how hard it is coming down......
Well, big wave to all!! Have to go check the windows before I have a flood on my hands....lol
