Came across this today and thought I'd pass it on as a reminder.....we know most of this stuff and probably do it although I do not launder the linens every day....I slept on the couch when Dan was sick and washed them every few days...every day is a bit much but I can see it if you have no other place to go....I went to the living room~~lol www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/27/disinfect-home-flu_n_2554112.html#slide=more277006

Thanks Colleen
The second link I think I posted on FB via a friend.
I change my pillow case every other day and the sheets once a week, lol, I am lazy.
I keep Wet Ones in my car and the travel pouches in my purse. I still cannot believe some grocery stores do not have cart wipes!

I won't go to a store that doesn't care enough to have wipes...
I heard on a tv show that if you have allergies, you should change your pillowcase every day -- pollen gets on your hair and up your nose, then onto the pillow, and you are breathing it all night. Makes sense. Especially if you don't shower before bed.

For allergies it is wise to shower before bed since pollen sticks to your hair. Also, my doctor told me to wash or at least rinse your hair nightly. I always did this so no biggie for me.
It is suggested to buy a new pillow every few months if you can't afford more often. Sinuses are affected by the sloughed off skin that is trapped in our pillows even with case protectors on them.

I throw our pillows in the wash every few months and they come out nice but they are good pillows to begin with. Dryer heat kills mites and all kinds of things.
