Thank you for the welcome, Cherylmcc. My name is Tom, and maybe I should change that somewhere. Looks like there is a lot of support here. - Tom

Hello Tom,
We've got a wonderful group of people. We care about each other. It's always a pleasure to welcome a new member to our group. It won't take long and you'll know your way around the forum. Ask any questions you'd like. There's always some great answers.
Looking forward to getting to know you, Tom.

Changed the display name. I'm 'fcsnc' everywhere I go, but I think it makes some people think I'm weird or something. - Tom

Morning TOm and YES there is a lot of support here, most of us have been here for quite a while but we always welcome new members. IF we can help you with anything please just ask. I had a lung transplant because of basically pure emphysema, at least that's what they say.....we've another Member Merry that had one also. So you can see we can offer a variety of help.
SO happy to have you on our forum...please jump in anywhere...read the daily chat and you'll get to know us pretty quick and feel free to post there daily. Trying to live with this disease is hard so we try to make it a bit easier.....

Welcome Tom, I have been a member forever and for the past several years this is the only forum I come to. It is a great place to ask questions and your own experience and knowledge are invaluable to the other members here. You will find that we are not totally consumed by this disease but that we are learning to live a life as productive and comfortable as possible. We not only share the lowly aspects of this disease and the affect it has on our lives but we also share most other aspects of our life. We have helped each other through much heartache and pain but we have also helped celebrate the highs shared with our members. Stress and pain is a real detriment to us with this disease but happiness and glad tidings are also a good medicine for us. Again welcome and blessings to you, Ken
