How many believe extreme heat affects our breathing (sob) and also allergies. My sob is back and so is the high 90's and my allergies. I just can't seem to win:(

I hope it does! I am looking forward to cooler weather to see if my breathing improves, I have been struggling for every breath. It is not just the heat, it is also the extreme humidity that I think is doing me in

The heat has always bothered my breathing -- still does. Leave it to me to live in Florida!! Humidity is terrible for it, too. You're not alone, Pat.

It's been 95+ most days. By end of the week it'll be 99 but might as well round it off to 100. Very difficult to get around in that kind've heat. And we've actualy had humidity some days. Bad bad...Thanks everyone, your answers are most appreciated, really:) 80's seem to work for me:)

Adding my 2¢. The heat makes it harder for me to breathe too.

Yes, I can take the cold much better than the heat.

Elizabeth you sound like me. Mine is still just not back from my hospital stay in March and all the stress. Hospital I believe made me worse. I think today was a good weather day but I still struggle. We have had a lot of humidity. I been down for two days with sinus problems. Until I get my exercising on a schedule, I will wait to see if it is just me that can no longer breath. I do fine sitting.
I went outside this morning and got three days mail and three newspapers about 7 AM and it was 'nice' out. Usually someone is around and gets them every couple days but no visitprs this week. I cancelled the bath lady yesterday. That is good as I was trying to rest. I don't get mail regularly because it is sort of difficult for me and have to use the chair.
Merry my COPD Digest was in the mail. I will have to take a look at that article. I always look at them and also the ads in COPD magazines. Takes me a while to get to it.
Pat, hope you cool off soon. Our normal the other day was 112 but we were under 100 I think. Thank Goodness.
