Hadn't even heard of this one. It's nice that they are coming out with some new options.

I'd like to know if anyone is open to trying these new meds to see if they help at all but so far no one seems interested and when these new ones come out there is usually free samples flooding the market to get it going......

I have heard of Pressair, but not the first name of it. I don't know if Penn would let us try that if on the tx. list.
When Symbicort came out, I wanted to try it and it took many many pre auths for insurance to approve it, and it made a difference at first for me.
Yeah, willing to try anything to make me breathe better. I think the sample are mostly at regular doctor offices and clinics.

I've not heard of it. I always wonder about the side-effects that are listed. They don't sound pleasant.

I never heard of this one either. They must be moving around quicker or talked about less. I used to be familiar with most of the new ones before they got on the market. I remember waiting for Symbicort and Spiriva.
In those cases we had people on the boards already using them. Not sure I am spelling this right but the one drug daliresp that came out I will not try. I am too concerned about the side effects. Seems it works or it doesn't and when it doesn't sounds pretty miserable.
It sounded like this one has some possible serious side effects too. Always nice to know just what they compared with when doing the studies and little more background. I usually got a lot of that by reading what others posted.
Let us know Wendy what you find out. Colleen, always good to know if new drugs are out. Thanks,

It's just another anticholinergic knockoff on Spiriva (tiotropium). If you are already using the Tiova from ADC, you might just as well forget thy new 'version' . . . you will have to pay full price for it, just like buying Spiriva. -- Vic

Oops, almost forgot to mention that you must use it 2x-a-day, so why even give it a thought over Once-a-day tiotropium? -- Vic

Thanks Vic, this is the kind of input needed on these new drugs. I did google it but didn't find what you are telling us. I did notice the side effects are similar to spiriva. I wonder what their reasoning is for going 2X a day? Maybe more effective if it is split up?? or that it will last longer if its in 2 doses? Or its just a new drug co trying to make more money marketing it different? LOL who knows these days...... What we need is effective drugs that help, not duplicates off ones we already have. Thanks again Vic.
