Twice this year a pipe broke under my kitchen sink. Main't guy finally repaired it for good I hope. But it smells bad underneath there and am afraid of mold or mildew is affecting my allergies terrible and my breathing as far as sob has just not ever settlled down for good. I went to Hollywood for a long week-end and I felt improved almost 100%. Could this mold/mildew be affecting me negatively? If so, I will talk to mgmt about a new wood under there...No other reason for my breathing. Sats are good and lungs sound ok.... Here we go again:)

Pat, I'm not sure, but I think breathing in mold can make you very ill. My vote is get it fixed.

If your breathing is worse again now that you are back home, then something in the apt could be making you sick and under the sink is a good place to start. Yes, mold/mildew is bad for your breathing and depending on the type of mold could be deadly eventually.

I called the office and asked that my apt be checked for mold. I had to leave a v/m. Hopefully they'll be back in touch quick. Thanks Colleen..
