Good morning Colleen!Sure hope you are feeling better! Been a while since I've been in here. Not much going on for me today. It is suppose to be hot and humid so guess I will just stay inside. Steve and I are planning a trip to Gulfport MS in a few weeks. I have not traveled at all since being listed so not sure how that works. I will have to call them soon and find out.
My granddaughter will be leaving me at the end of this week. Her parents now have joint custody with her dad as primary and mom having half visitation. Meaning one week with dad and one week with mom. I will be totally lost for a while!
Hope all have a great day!!

Hey Debbie, so good to see you pop in~~sorry about the G-daughter....won't be easy for her either.
Usually when you travel you call them and they will make you inactive while you are gone and when you get back call them and they will re-activate you. I did it once a year for family vacation which they highly recommended me to go on.

Hi everyone. Debbie - a trip to Mississippi in the summer? Hot, hot, hot...I'm sure you'll have a good time, though. We've missed seeing you in here. Welcome back. Colleen - are you feeling better? You sound a little perkier. Did you see all your birthday greetings? It's awful to be sick over your birthday. Did Lucy recover from her fireball? I went to the gym this morning. We had a low turnout in both classes...I guess people are still away after the holiday weekend. Either that or they have company. Sometimes it's nice to have a small class. We can spread out a little more than usual and really get down!

I am feeling a bit better but come to find out I should have called transplant when I started that anti fungal drug, I thought she said to get blood work 2 weeks from starting it but it makes the prograf skyrocket and they would have lowered my dose so this could be why I got sick and am still not feeling great. SO no prograf till Friday and then only take .50 till I see them on Wednesday and get blood work.
Been fighting a headache for 2 days and this could also be from very high prograf levels~~
I am hoping by tomorrow I will be feeling much better. lol....CRS moment for sure. Next time I will write down every word, I am not careless w/my tx stuff so this kinda has me a bit un-nerved~~

I guess it is quiet again today. Nice seeing you here Deb! It has been a while. Have fun this summer. I have always wanted to go there but the heat would really get to me.
Colleen, I'm glad your feeling better. Stomach flus are the worst! Your husband sounds like a worker. My husband is constantly puttering around here when the weather is good. He went and got groceries for me while I went for x-rays. He came home and has been working like crazy outside. My daughter and I laughed when we pulled in the driveway, he was mowing the lawn again! He did it three days ago. Some day my daughter and I will probably see him out there measuring the grass to make sure it doesn't go over an inch.
Merry, you do take a lot of medicines. Is that from the transplant? Your husband takes a lot too. Do you have a good prescription plan? I would hate to have that many. I complain all the time about taking pills.
I have to go start dinner now. I don't know what to cook so it will probably be hamburgs. Boring!

Good Evening,
Linda - How did the x-rays turn out?
Colleen - I'm glad you're feeling better. Hope the headache goes away.
Merry - Did you get the cabinet you want?
Debbie - How old is your granddaughter? The trip sounds great.
I washed the floors today. Decided to use the steam mop. Haven't used it for awhile. I need to buy a new Swiffer mop. Spent most of my day reading.
Sleep well everyone.

Linda - I do take lots of pills. The transplant causes me to take 3 different immune suppressants and 2 antibiotics and an anti-fungal (for preventative measures). All of those cause side effects that I have to take meds for: high blood pressure, fluid retention, high cholesterol, acid reflux, anemia, etc. Then I have my thyroid, and osteoporosis...Plus I am supposed to take magnesium, calcium, a multi-vitamin and fish oil. It's amazing that I have any room for food! Lee takes almost as many pills as I do - but his are mostly for his heart problems. It's alot to keep track of and stay on top of--which is why I have to be super-organized (at least as far as our health stuff goes). I ordered the cabinet on-line--should be here in a few days.
So You Think You Can Dance begins tonight. Hooray!! It's one of my favorite summer shows.
