Loving these dinner ideas. I had plain old cheese tortellini in light broth and made parmesan crackers. The others in the family had sandwiches.
I love basmati and jasmine rice, has always been my fav and am glad it is heading up the line in cuisine.
Who is cooking low fat? My friend has been told he has heart disease and I am trying to find new things for him...

Merry, well learn something new every day! Who would have thunk....dried pasta that is stuffed. I will have to look for it. I love spinach and cheese and Brailla (sp) is a good brand of pasta
I posted in the general forum how good the recipe I tried was, I was really surprise, I did not expect it to turn out so good

Had corned beef and potatoes. Forgot to ask the gal who went to store for me to pick up a head of cabbage. Just as well, I'm windy enough:) The CB was delicious. I froze one pkg and put other in fridge to nibble off.

Just bbq'd pork chops tonight. I haven't thought about what I'll have with them. Pretty boring.

We're going to have chicken tonight and I'll make rice to go with it. My son emailed me a peanut sauce recipe that he says is really good on rice and chicken. I'll give it a shot tonight.

We stopped at Sonny's on the way home from the doctor. Got the senior special (ok, I lied about my age, but nobody specifically asked). Lee had sliced pork and I had ribs - beans and cole slaw and garlic bread plus Coke. Figure we won't need supper tonight after all that. :Drinking:

I fried chicken tenders tonight with baked potatoes and brocolli, cauliflower, bell pepper mix with a cheese sauce. Excellent.
I think it's time we start a new thread for this....it's really getting long.
