Morning everybody, coffee and tea are ready to go... biscuits are fresh out of the oven and Im waiting for the sausage to finish cooking so I can make gravy to go with them. Shouldnt be much longer tho.
I picked up my car yesterday, Im keeping my fingers crossed that I'll have no more troubles. It killed me paying all that to have someone else change what my husband could've done himself if it wasnt for a bolt that was in an awkward spot and in too tight also. he broke 2 sockets trying to get it out.
Not sure what I'll be doing today, I need to try to do a bit more Christmas shopping and pick up a few more things for Thanksgiving dinner before I forget.
Waving to all swinging thru today, I hope you have a great day today!

Good morning Sue,
I hope your car doesn't give you anymore problems. A car will nickle and dime you to death. The engine in my old Honda is still sound but it needs alot of body repair.
No news to pass on. Hope those following me have a wonderful day.

Morning!! Thanks for opening Sue~ biscuits were delish and its a cold rainy morning, perfect for it~ I also hope your car troubles are over. When I get home from Ma I have to order 4 tires...ouch...not what I wanted to pay around the holidays but tire rack has a good price of I think it was around 336.00 for them. I never get tires anywhere else anymore...lol I am leaving in a while for Massachusetts and wishing everyone a very blessed & peaceful Thanksgiving. Not sure if I will have internet with all the work Dan's sister has done. If there is I will be in but if not you probably won't see me till Sunday.

Good morning my Lil Lovelies. I am having trouble being the only man type creature amongst all you female types so I have invited a good friend who has COPD to join us. His name is Phil so II hope he will stop by, he has some very specific needs, he has been DX'd Asbestosis several years ago and also has COPD. His Pulmo, same as mine is not much help. I told him how we share info.
Cheryl it may be that Junior and his sweet one had a bit of a tiff and she is giving "silent treatment". Did you get along with her before they moved in together? If she doesn't get along with Junior's family it will be a long miserable relation. Good luck.
Sue I am a biscuit and gravy connoisseur. That is what I am making for Men's breakfast on 12-3. I hope your car doesn't give any more problems. If it does you might see if you have a Lemon Law in your state.
Wishing all a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am thankful for each of you and especially since I am the only male in the clan.

Good Afternoon,
I'm having a boring day today. I suppose I should really do some wrapping. We might be getting freezing rain this evening. That's always fun to drive in......NOT!
Sue - Thanks for the tea and biscuits. You make gravy from sausage? I've never heard of that.
Pat - Got any duct tape for the car? lol j/k
Colleen - Have a great time this weekend.
Ken - I hope your friend, Phil joins us. We seemed to get along o.k. with my son's g/f, but always kinda got the feeling that she was just tolerating us because she had to. Many times she would come in the front door and I'd say "Hi", she would reply, then right away would head down the basement (where they hung out). No chit chat at all.
Virginia - It sounds like you're really looking forward to Thanksgiving. Have a great dinner.
Waving!

I'm going to brine my turkey tonight and hope to get most of my cooking out of the way tomorrow. (Boy, I hope he's all thawed out!) Colleen - hope your trip is wonderful. Enjoy your family! Ken - you know your friend is more than welcome here! We need some more guys ;D Here's wishing all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving. I imagine attendance here will be sparse over the next few days, but please know I'm thinking of you all.

Hi all
a little late getting here. Went to doctor's then hairdresser today. Swelling and pain in the arm and was given a patch till the ultrasound comes through. The hairdresser did a good job getting the color lighter. She put a lightener in it, then a toner and some red. In about three weeks, she said she could work on it more. I hope my head doesn't burn or itch later, lol. I can't wash it till Thurs she said. I hate that.
Sue, I really hope the car doesn't give you any more troubles. Certain cars do have spot that are so very hard for people to reach. Even mechanics have a hard time. It does burn you up to think that one small thing can be the obstacle that causes you money.
Colleen, I sure hope you have a great trip.
Merry, I am prepping tomorrow too. Let us know how the brining turns out.
Cheryl, don't feel too bad about the g/f. She will come around, there is a reason. My daughter has directed her friends to go right to her room and such.
I hope tomorrow isn't rainy.
Have a good nite all.
